A Successful Path
My name is Meagan. I am 20 years old and already struggling to pay bills and simply live. I made the mistake of not continuing my education after school , moving out on my own right away, and working one dead end job after another. I remember starting each job and thinking I had some real advancement opportunities. Just to be disappointed and find that things are not always what they seem. However, after reading your website I think things can be what they seem and getting this scholarship and taking this course could be a huge turn around for my life. I think becoming an MT could open up opportunities and successes that I have yet to be able to experience. It would all around better my life. Of the many advantages to this job would be the ability to work from home. I am currently a maid so I drive a lot using a lot of money ( money I don’t have) for gas. Being able to save that money means that there is one more bill I can pay. It also means that I can work from the comfort of home and not have to work in other peoples homes being exposed to illnesses. I think the biggest and most important advantage for me would be having the ability to make more money and not live from paycheck to paycheck. It would be nice not to have to worry about being ill and how I can pay for it or wonder is this check going to be enough? I would feel relief in becoming an MT and knowing that not only will my checks cover my bills but they will also leave me with money to save for emergency purposes. I think one huge benefit to me personally would be the new challenge. I have had many jobs, mainly in the food industry, however none in medical. I enjoy learning and devouring new information and would be excited to learn everything I need to know to become a successful and knowledgeable MT. I believe this course will be one of the biggest steps toward my future and I feel comfortable embarking on it especially knowing that I will have job opportunities after. In the next few years I would hope to have successfully completed the medical transcription courses and be working as a full time MT. I would also like to have my bills and living in far better order than I do right now. After that has been achieved I see myself working my way up to a management level and share and teach anyone below me how to gain the same success. I have finally reached a point in my life where I know I either have to do something soon with my life or go no where with the path I am on. I believe that with this program I will have all the tools to put my life on a better, more successful path. I hope you can see that I have great determination for this job and that I am a perfect candidate for this scholarship. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
