A Very Good Job
I want to become a medical transcriptionist because I like the job and I want to apply and enhance more of my knowledge & skills in the medical field and I believe that it’s a good start in this industry so that I will be successful in the medical field. I want to learn transcribing. As a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing last 2007 which is my second course or degree I believed that I can manage to work as an MT. Also I think medical transcription jobs are in line with administrative work which is exciting, challenging and I will learn more and more. My passion for administration with commitment and drive to succeed take me courage to be part of the MT industry and also being a Nursing graduate so I can be able to use my profession. The advantages I think that I will get working in MT industry: first – my skills will develop especially in taking doctors instructions and I will get additional knowledge about medical health and how to do the transcribing; second – I will be able to work independently, responsibly and communicate to multi cultural people like health professionals & clients; third – it’s a good extra income especially nowadays that I’m experiencing financial crisis on my budget; fourth – it’s a time saving job, so it’s a great part time job because I can work at my own time due that I have a full time job. Lastly, I will get a benefit to show my ability to become a medical transcriptionist. The reason why I am interested in training as a medical transcriptionist is to use my profession as a health professional, to develop my skills, ability and knowledge in the medical field. The benefits I think that MT will give me is to know the strategy on how to work as an MT and I will be able to perform the job well. My confidence will boost to work as an MT that will give me strength to succeed. I will be able also to communicate and build relationships with the multi cultural health professionals and clients. Also this is a great experience as a person to work in the MT industry. My goals at the moment are to get a medical transcriptionist certificate and to belong in the MT family because this is my eligibility that I can be able to use my profession as a Nursing graduate and to develop my ability in this industry and to get employment as an MT. Somehow, I see myself in the MT industry 5 years from now as one of the in demand MT online with the ability to be responsible. Likewise, I want to have employment in the hospital and be able to work as an MT. Medical transcriptionist is a very good job especially for me because I am able to recall all my learnings that I’ve studied and to develop it. I believe that this could be a great help in the area who doesn’t practice.
