Excited about a new opportunity

I am a thirty-four year old, single mother. I recently finished nursing school and I am now a Licensed Practical Nurse. I have been in nursing going on two years now and have had experience in many areas of the nursing field. I am currently a nurse for the State Of Arkansas. I work at the Human Development Center. I work with adults that have developmental handicaps and/or mental illnesses. I enjoy being a nurse and helping others. The residents here remind me that life is precious but also short. I have four children ages 13, 11, 9, and 4. I work a grave yard shift which lets me be able to take my kids to school, pick them up, and be able to take them to doctor and/or dentist appointments when necessary.

As a nurse my job is demanding and with it, comes long hours and abundant overtime. I get little rest and not much quality time. My mother helps me watch my children at night. They miss being able to sleep in their own beds, in their own rooms. I would like to find a career I can be at home with my children at night and still have the opportunity to be able to be involved with school activities, church, and family time. I want a career that is involved in nursing but allows me to be home more with my children. I would like to be able to give them a structured life and of course more time to enjoy the different things life has to offer.

I have looked at Medical transcription programs for a few months. I have the overwhelming interest, just never really found that program that stood out, until now. I love the fact FutureMT has an informative, versatile, and affordable program. It has all the options I have been looking for. A great support base, flexibility, clear and easy outlines of the course and affordability. The guarantee to help find a job was astounding! Your program seems to be all around well defined as to what everyday people look for. The course outline was informative and easy to understand. I respect the fact your site is giving everyday people the ability to find that extra time with their families and be able to support them as well. I was amazed that the site even provides scholarships that are given to individuals through drawings every month! I am thinking this is more than just a dream, this is an achievable reality! This career possibility will give me the chance to still be apart of nursing, a passion I didn’t want to have to give up. I have many co workers and friends that have voiced their interest in having more time with their families. I am excited to share this opportunity with them. I envision the ability to gain experience with being a medical transcriptionist for a few years then possibly starting my own Medical transcripton business. I am excited to know there is no limit to my career possibilities. FutureMT will give me the tools I need to exceed. I can’t wait to enroll and become a part of this exciting program. Thank you for giving me the chance to live my dreams, not just dream them!
