I am hoping to become an MT
I would like to start off by saying, Hello. My name is, Lori, mother of two wonderful kids. My daughter is 10, and my son is getting ready to turn 2. I have worked in factories since I graduated. It was not the life of luxury by no means but it got my family by. For the past two years things have really changed in our community. Factories shutting down, slow business everywhere. I did get the opportunity to work with a Doctor and his patients, and it felt really good to help others. Well, with kids the hours where not working. I decided to start looking online to change my career and I looked into becoming a MT once before but the thought of quiting my job, going back into a classroom just made me a little uneasy. I am sitting at home with no money, two kids, and a lot of bills, what more motivation do I need?
I would like to become a Medical Transcriptionist because I can stay home, make my own hours, and not have the fear of losing my job every time my kids get ill and I have to leave work. There are a lot of careers I can choose from but the only thing that really jumped out at me was a medical transcriptionist. Maybe, my kids will pickup on some the training and work I will be doing over the next years and if they decide to have their future in the medical field it may not be as difficult for them to grasp onto. I also like the fact that you want a essay. I have been on many websites browsing through to see what they offered and if they accepted financial aid.
Future MT is the only course that wants to know what I want out if the training or why I am even trying to get aid. I have worked hard to try and do the best buy my family but I think I can do better for them, that is where you come in. I need this for me. To show myself that I can do it. To give my family a better life than what they have had the past two years.I would like nothing better than to receive a MT education. I am looking to gain knowledge of the medical world. I know it will not be a waste of time. The Doctors and Hospitals are not going to go out of business or shut down. There is always going to be sick people in the world. I also don’t have a fear of doing this for no reason because I should not ever run out of work. I hope by picking this as a career it will help my children pick their careers in the medical world because it is not going anywhere. I would like to thank you for this opportunity, and hope I am considered for the full scholarship. This is my only way. I hope to hear from you.
