I love the medical field
I would like to become a medical transcriptionist because I love anything that has to do with the medical field. I have always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor so that I may be able to help people but I can’t do the shot giving and the blood. Not because I am not strong enough but because I am afraid that I am going to hurt them.
I think that becoming a medical transcriptionist would be very interesting and at the same time it would allow me to work in the field that I am most passionate about. It would also allow me to stay at home with my daughters until they start school and possibly afterwards. Nothing comes before my family and I know that tomorrow is not a promise so I try to spend as much time with the people that I love as I can. I have a 2 year old little girl that makes my world go around and I am expecting another daughter in April. I would like a career instead of a job because I want to know that I can take care of them and give them what they need. I believe that having a job makes you too disposable especially in the economy that we have today.
I want something that I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life and I know that something in the medical field is what I want. Having a career that I can do from home is ideal to me also because of the flexibility. Having kids makes it hard to work sometimes and at home jobs are perfect for mothers. In the next five years I would like to complete your course and find a great job that I love getting up every morning and doing. I would also like to go further with my studies. I know that it is kind of in another direction from medical transcription but I would also like to be a medical examiner. This would be after my children started school but I would at least like to have all the certifications before they do.
I have put off going to school for 10 years and now I think that it is something that I need to do. I have realized that I do not like feeling unimportant or useless and I think that a lot more mothers that are under educated should go back to school and do the things that make them happy and it’s nice to know that there are courses and online classes out there that make it possible. With the price of gas and childcare now a day, it makes it hard for people like to me to be able to go back to school. For me Future MT is the way to go because it helps mothers go back to school and do something with their lives that otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to do. My parents both worked in factories my whole life because they didn’t even graduate high school. I am the first person in my family to graduate high school in 3 generations and I am ashamed to say that that’s where I stopped. I should have done this a long time ago. I want to be happy with my life and to be able to say that I was and did the things that I wanted to. I am a very intelligent person and I am tired of wasting that.
The online classes, financial aid and scholarship opportunities are a great way to get people into school as I probably wouldn’t be applying if it weren’t for that. I think that more parents should check out your website if they would like help with furthering their education. After completing your course I would like to work from home having the freedom to spend as much time with my family as possible. I won’t have to miss out on anything in my children’s lives and that is very important to me.
