My Decision To Become a Medical Transcriptionist
My decision to become a medical transcriptionist didnt come easy or early in my life. At 38 years old, I have already completed a four year Bachelor’s Degree Program and have been working for many years. I have always felt drawn to the medical field but I haven’t been able to figure out what area I was interested in. After researching what a medical transcriptionist is and does, I felt like a change in my life was needed and greatly welcomed. I am currently engaged to be married and I haven’t had children yet, so I wanted a career that would allow me to be home and still have a steady income. I am at a place in my life that I want to be content and not stressed about work. I feel like being an MT will allow me to work at my own pace and also allow me to control my income. I am very motivated and I know this is a good move for me. After discussing this career move with my future husband, we decided that the positives definately outweighed the negatives and being an MT would give more security to our future life together. He supports me 100% and we are excited about our family and the freedom of having one parent at home all the time. When I came across the website for Future MT, I was immediately interested. I felt that this program was legitimate and had a lot of great benefits to it. One benefit is that I didnt have to quit my current job to go to college to get certified. Like most people, I dont have the luxury of just going to college and not working, so this was a great plus to me. Another thing I liked was that I can do the work from home typing at my own pace. If I want to finish quickly I can or if I need a bit more time then that’s ok too. The cost of the program seems fair to me and with the added bonus of possibly getting a scholarship for an essay or just being selected at random seems like an added plus to me as well. I feel that Future MT will allow me to reach my goal of being an MT as quickly and as smoothly as possible. I am glad I found this information and I am excited to get started. My future looks bright and this MT program is one of the avenues that I am going to use to secure that future for me. I plan to do very well as an MT. I expect the first year will be challenging while I learn and get familiar with my new work, but I am a quick learner and very motivated, so I know I will make a good living for me and my family. Whether I work for a hospital as an employee or on my own, I know the knowledge I will gain from this program will be invaluable to me. I hope to be a very successful business-woman, using this education to take me as far as I can go in this industry. Overall, I am excited to get started and begin learning a new career. I have already told all my friends about it and I expect they will be curious and may even try the program too. I just appreciate the opportunity to try for scholarship money because that will just help me reach my goal a bit faster and easier. I am very grateful and know I am truly blessed in my life and in my future. Thank you so much.
