The next chapter in my life
Life is certainly an ongoing book. The pages are written each day. My favorite chapter in my book contains the reason I would like to get into Medical Transcription. The chapter begins with the arrival of a 2 year old girl from India. She is the daughter my husband and I longed for and adopted.
Since I have a degree in education, I have been working as a Substitute Teacher, while my daughter has been adjusting to her new life in the United States. This job has been wonderful and the hours put in are the same hours my daughter attends school. There are no benefits, however, and no retirement package either. Medical Transcription would be an ideal job for me. Becoming a Transcriptionist would enable me to provide a college education for my daughter.
As a Medical Transcriptionist, I would also receive necessary benefits of health insurance, paid vacation time and even retirement benefits. Quality time at home would even be possible. I could even work from home if I chose to do so. Medical Transcription offers a much higher salary than I have ever had in any other field of employment. I have dedicated my life to my adopted daughter and I want to be able to provide for her if something should ever happen that my husband could not.
With so many things happening in the world, medical costs and care is increasing. The cost of quality education has also increased. Before long, I will be writing a new chapter in my book of life that is entitled, “She Goes Away to College”. I will only be able to write the chapter if I can help to provide income for her tuition to college.
The Medical Transcription Training that Future MT offers will assist me in assuring a quality life for my adopted daughter and also in providing me with a career I enjoy. The program will enable me to reach many goals in life. My first goal would be to become educated in the field of Medical Transcription. The second goal I would strive to reach would be to find employment in the field of Medical Transcription, and my final goal would be to help provide the means for my daughter to attend college.
As I continue writing on my book of life, I am so encouraged to know that there are people who really care enough to offer scholarships and even full tuition to those who are willing to receive an education. Being an educator, has taught me to reach for my dreams. Medical Transcription is a dream I have had for many years. Becoming educated in a variety of fields is an important goal I wish to achieve. The medical field is one that is greatly needed and transcriptionists are needed to help our medical teams and patients throughout the world. I would like to be a part of that team. If I really was writing my book of life, I would love to end the book by writing about my experience with your program. I must have assistance in order to reach my dreams. I would give each and every assignment my very best and would also try to be an excellent Medical Transcriptionist.
