Not worrying about having to get up early in the morning to be at work, you can set up your own hours and days you can work. You also don’t have to worry about a boss breathing down your neck about how fast you are working. You can work at your own steady pace to make sure that your work is getting done. Spending time with your family is very important, especially when you don’t have a job holding you back. You don’t have to worry about not being able to make it to an event that your children’s school is having because you have to work and can’t take off. You want to be able to spend as much time as you can with your family, especially if you have children and you don’t want to miss anything that goes on with them because you have to work. Medical transcription has the best career advantage because not only can you do it in a doctor’s office, but you can also really do it from the privacy of your own home over the internet through emails. You can also further your education in medical transcription so that you can open your own business in the privacy of your home. You can be a contractor and work for different doctor’s offices or you can work for only one. This field can give you a chance to be more skilled and more knowledgeable about what you are doing. There are so many reasons and so many advantages to working in the MT industry, especially when you can work from home. That’s the best advantage if you ask me-it can’t get any better than that. I really like the idea that I can open up my own business from the comfort of my own home. I like the idea of being my own boss and making my own rules and hours. I also like the idea of being able to spend time with my son and not having to worry about some job. I know I will look back one day and say to myself, “I’m glad that I made the decision to become a medical transcriptionist”. This field alone has so many opportunities, but you just have to be able to get out there to get them. I think that this is the best career for me because of the opportunities that this field has to offer. The very best advantage is that you get to work from home and that you can open up your own business and further your education.
