Working from home takes a lot of dedication
To start off my essay I would like to say why I want to be a MT. I am looking for a future job that I can see myself doing for years to come. I am 44 years old and don’t want to rely on Social security when I am at retirement age. I would also like to have a job that I can do even after retirement age. The medical fields are always going to be there and be in demand. I believe there is more work in this field than any other. The medical field is growing and changing every day and more and more dedicated people are needed to fill these jobs.
I am a very dedicated person and am finding that the MT line of work would be very challenging and fulfilling. I like to be busy and helping in any way possible but I am not able to do a lot from where we currently live. I live very remote and need to be to work from home. This field of work seems to be one that that is possible. There are not a lot of job opportunities here where I live for a long term job. I have two boys that are age 8 and 10 I would like to be able to be home and have the flexibility that is needed for them with there activities and to help them through there schooling and needs. I love being at home and being there when they get home from school to be able to help them with there school work. Working a full time job away from home would take that away from my family. I believe in this day and age you need to stay as close to your family as you can to help them through the good times and bad times and to help them make the right decisions and choices in life. There is a lot of wrong choices that kids these days can make without help from there family. By taking a medical transcription online course, I believe it will show a future employer that I can do my job well from home and that I am for real and want to succeed. Taking a medical course will also help prepare me for the type of work needed in any medical field. I want to have my own business and be working from home within the next year in order to meet our financial goals for retirement and to be able to provide a future collage education for my children.
At the point I am at right now It will not be possible to do without a second income. The MT. field looks to be very secure and not a business that will be gone in the next 10 years. There are so many things that can be done for a future employer when an employee is working from home and not having to take up office space. I also believe that working from home takes a lot of dedication and taking online courses and graduating will show that I am dedicated and can be trusted.
